OpTech will be utilizing the port’s Foreign-Tradew Zone (FTZ #10-80) to accept the tuna shipmenft on behalf of its an international importer basesd outof California. OpTech wouldr not disclose the importer’s name. Customersz use FTZs to accept and store international shipments before theyare tested, labeled and packagesd for distribution. FTZs allow productd be held in the zone without beingy subject to import duties or other ad valorem OpTech is a tenant at Port San a master-planned logistics center built on the former Kellu Air Force Base. The entire site is a FTZ for whichh all tenants can activate forbusiness purposes.
