"It'll be much cheaper to maintai and operate than a building built 10 or 15 years ago," Kapp said. The new dealership will employ about30 people, which will move from the otherd dealership. He expects the Honda store to provid e a 25 percent to 30 percent increase in new car In June, 112 new cars were sold from the Bill Marind Auto Center, which includes Chrysler, Jeep, , Volkswagonb and Honda.
He expects the new Honda stored will sell at least 100 new carsper month, and hopese to reach sales of 125 new cars per In addition to the new Honda Marine said the auto center will now have more room for the other car lines he carries. While Marine has been looking to add another franchisd to the autocenter location, Honda has been his top franchisew in terms of sales. He said customers come to his Hondaq dealership because of employees andquality product.

During the process of getting a new buildingv for theHonda dealership, Marine said it was importan t to him to stay in downtown Springfield. "We'red staying downtown because that's where the real growthn is goingto be," he "Downtown is the right place to be."
